Shoot 7 - Final Multiple Image Shoot

Final Multiple Image Shoot

For my final shoot I used the idea of contrasting natural beauty and innocence with idea of man-made and has a strong attitude. The way I formed this two contrasting opinions into figures is using the human figures.
I used the shoot from Dan Mountford personal response to symbolise the idea of natural beauty and innocence, the reason I wanted to include that shoot is because the images taken were very well produce and all the lighting was correct, another reason is that my model had included a lot of facial expression that I didn't use when I edited my final images for my personal response for Dan Mountford.

To Contrast with that shoot I made up my Model with make up, including bright red lipstick; the colour of the lip stick was important, and I selected red because I wanted a strong statement of attitude to be shown from this shoot and red symbolises danger and attitude. Another point I asked my model to put across is the way she poses, the strong gestures with hands and the eye contact she put out down the camera also back my point of presenting attitude to the audience. This shoot was successful because I was able to achieve an contrasting opinion from the previous. What else was successful was the lighting in the images was correct making my images more professional to view and needing very little editing to adjust them for further editing and combining.

What I'm doing Next

From these two shoot I intend to combine them using the techniques I have learnt from all the artist I have research, I shall be using the gradient tool from Dan Mountfords work, I also shall be using the idea of involving colour into my work which I Miki's work presented and how important it is because it gives the image more texture.

How To Edit

 1. To edited all of the selected images I have chosen to combine I opened them up in Photoshop.

2. I then selected the 'Cropping tool' to alter them to the size I wanted.

3. I cropped each image down to remove to extra background space in the image, and  cutting that part make the image really focus on the model in the centre.
 4. After cropping the image down to the right size I adjusted the images Brightness and Contrast levels, this evens out the skin tone levels and also whiten the back ground which reduced the size of the harsh shadow in the back ground.

Editing Further...

5. For further editing I combined a selection of mixed images, from the shoot of, natural and attitude, and opened them up in Photoshop.
6. After that I layered each image on one another.
7. I then moved the layers to the correct placing I wanted them to combined with each other.
 8. After that I then selected one layer at a time and used the 'Eraser Tool' to remove the harsh line from the edge of each photo, then I changed the Opacity level on the top two levels.
9. Finally I then moved the top two layer the top of the bottom layer to create my multiple image.

Selection of Final edits

Review:

This image above I only used the 'Natural Beauty' shoot images. From looking at this image the sense of innocence and emotions is strongly presented to the audience, this is shown by the light pastoral colours in the image, giving the image a lightly effect of softeness. Another factor that represents innocence and emotion is the movement that is shown between the two layered images, I the effect of what the movement has its almost as if the picture is alive as is telling a story.

Review:

For this is image I only used the 'Attitude' shoots images, this edit hasn't got a vibrant representation as what the previous edit has, I believe this because the redness of the lipstick isn't as bright as I wanted it to be in the image. However the from this edit it too shows the movement that the previous edit has. I also like the use of having three images combined as it really emphasizes the movement with in the images.

Final Image

Review:

This image is the final edit to experiment. What I proud about with this image that is really shows the contrast between the two opinions I shown in my contacts sheets. From what I produced from the previous edits I used what I wanted to improve on to create this image, I included the use of the red lipstick because it really give that strong statement of attitude, which goes against the pastoral colour of the innocence of the second of natural beauty.
