Oliver Morris
Oliver's work I believe has a very natural feel to it, I get this thought because of the way nature and landscape views are incorporated into his images. Another thing about his work is that his work is very modern, I'm influence to believe this because the images are taken by a digital camera and also he has used technology such as photo shop to combine a selection of images together.
Another factor that I can take from his work and bring to mine is the combination of nature and people together, this also shows a element of multiple images. He shows multiple images by the way he layers his images on top of each other using the technology of photoshop I believe.
What also works well with his images is the way the figures slightly come through the back ground of the nature, this gives the image a submerged effect and also makes the image project to the audience a feel of softness.
What Intend To Do Next
from studying Oliver's images, I will take the idea of combining nature and people in my own way for this assessment. However to gain more experience from this assessment I want to use more technology like a Film Camera.
For my next shoot I shall see what effect using a film camera can do for my images and also experimenting on how I can combine my selections of images together.
